Significant Projects

DEVELOPMENT OF NEW TOWNSHIPS

Besides actively developing residential properties, PNSB also embarked on the development of new townships and amongst its significant projects is the Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi (BBST) which encompasses a land area of 230 acres and nestles in the district of Sepang. This project is essentially an integrated development consisting of commercial complexes, a hotel and shop offices.

Another major development which rests in the helm of Klang is the new township of Bandar Baru Klang. This development covers a land area of 200 acres, incorporates the latest technological developments and is essentially a fully integrated self-contained township with residental, commercial, and industrial lots, business parks, a shopping complex, hotel, recreation club, medical centre, private educational institutions and other facilities.

SQUATTERS RELOCATION PROJECT (SETINGGAN SIFAR 2005)

The focus on anti poverty programmes by the Selangor State Government is directed to not only the hard core poor but also to unlawful residents at state lands. The State Government plays a leading role in the effort to relocate squatters by creating proper and balanced urban and suburban development. As part of these efforts, PNSB with its joint venture partners play a major role in developing low cost housing projects to lodge squatters who have been eradicatd. Such relocation projects are Kampung Berembang, Taman Seri Intan and Bandar Pinggiran Sungai Long.

ABANDONED PROJECTS

As a result of the recent global economic slowdown, many developers in Selangor were affected and unable to complete their projects. PNSB, in its effort to ease and assist affected home buyers, undertook the responsibility to revive and secure the affected projects. Measures were undertaken to accelerate the implementation of abandoned and dilapidated homes and amongst the affected projects were Taman Seri Kerayong in Klang and Taman Harmoni in Balakong.

LOW COST HOUSING

The provision of low cost houses continues to be given emphasis in order to ensure the low income groups have access to adequate and affordable homes. With its joint venture partners, PNSB embarks in developing low cost homes. Towards this end, PNSB will continue to provide the necessary support to ensure the efficient development in line with the State Government’s aspiration to provide adequate, affordable and quality housing for all.
